tumbling through, the ages in you
the youth, in your beauty, serene
to a forest, emerald and green
the verdant colors, of life and divine
in these thoughts, the warmth reminds me
of all the truth, my soul as sought, in the years
spent, drifting, melting away
watching the truth, slip from the day
my fingers, never held firm, by the color
and shade, that shimmers in the light
now returns, and glistens, where the days now
give me strength, to this, i am known
in the timeless time, of moments yet unwound
i am beholden to your beauty, a whisper
a shadow, the browns, that run down your hair
the amber reflection, to youth, is a direction
toward the place where your smile awakens
in the breathe of dawn, it is these moments
the bronze of certainty, renewing my faith
in a world without end, without borders to contain
the pain, that so often rains, it is the color found
in your eyes, that makes life worthwhile
the gold, the silver, the colors that are always known
to sparkle, in the day, when all have run away
lost, far off, distant, in some long forgotten place
where only you and i are found, in the mist of morning
in the midst of one another's arms, all is beauty
all is quiet, and in our smiles, we find, that it is here
we belong
